# Follow every intake from graduation to a job offer

Graduates track their job search on a free board and share it with your careers team, so your outcome figures come from the applications, interviews and offers they actually record. Each intake is a cohort you can filter every figure by.

## How it helps

- **An intake is a cohort**: Invite a new intake straight into its cohort. When a graduate finishes, is placed or withdraws, end their time in the cohort with that reason and a note.
- **Outcomes per cohort**: Filter insights to one cohort to see its pipeline from applied to offer, how many offers were accepted, the median days to a first interview and the response rate.
- **Week-by-week momentum**: A weekly chart of applications, interviews and active graduates, plus the most and least active people in the cohort, shows when a search starts to stall.
- **Where graduates are applying**: Top sources and top companies rank where shared applications came from and which employers they went to.
- **Feed your own reporting**: Download the roster as a CSV file, or read the roster and the cohort figures through the REST API or its MCP server, with a key restricted to your organization.

## What applicants control

Applicants choose which board to share and can stop sharing at any time, which ends staff access straight away. Staff can read a shared board but never change it, and the applicant’s account stays free.

Before sharing a board, an applicant is shown exactly what a share does and does not expose, in these words:

### What an applicant is told staff can see

- Every application on that board, with its job title, company, location and the compensation you recorded.
- The interviews you logged on those applications, and how each application has moved between statuses.
- The insights calculated for that board.

### What an applicant is told is never shared

- Your contacts, and everything you recorded about them.
- Your resumes and any other documents you uploaded.
- Your personal information — your address, phone number, and anything else you saved for the browser extension.
- Your email templates.
- Every other board. Sharing one board shares that board and nothing else.
- Your board settings.

## Frequently asked questions

### How are placements counted?

A placement is an application on a shared board that reached Accepted. Separately, when a graduate leaves a cohort you can record Placed as the reason, so the cohort’s history says how each stint ended.

### Can one graduate be in more than one cohort?

Yes. An applicant can be in several cohorts at once and can rejoin a cohort later. Every stint is kept with its dates and the reason it ended.

### What about a graduate who never shares a board?

Every figure is built from shared boards, so a graduate who shares nothing adds nothing to them. They still hold a seat and still appear on the roster, flagged as having shared no board, so you can see who has yet to start.
