# contacts.list_linkable_applications

Search the applications a contact can be linked to

Scope: contacts:read. Kind: read. Acts on: personal.

Returns applications on this account matching `search`, reduced to the job title and company name a picker needs. Use it to turn a role a person mentioned into the application id that `contacts.create` and `contacts.update` take, rather than listing every application to find one. Leaving `search` out returns the most recent applications. A page holds at most 50 matches however large a `limit` you ask for, because a picker is not a way to read the whole applications table; `hasMore` and `nextCursor` say when there are more.
