# applications.bulk_move

Move many applications into one column at once

POST /boards/{boardId}/applications/bulk-move — answers 200

MCP tool: applications_bulk_move

Scope: applications:write. Kind: write. Acts on: personal.

Moves up to 200 cards on one board into the same status in a single transaction: either every card moves or none does, so a batch that names a card on another board or another account is refused with 422 and changes nothing. This is the operation for "archive everything I was rejected from before June" — find the ids with `applications.list` and send them here rather than calling `applications.move` in a loop, which would leave the board half-changed if one call failed. Each card that actually changes column closes its open status-history row and opens a new one; a card already in that column is left untouched and is not counted in `movedCount`. Returns the board’s updated columns.

Path and query parameters: boardId

Example — Archive two rejections
